He Lives

我向來對《世紀頌讚》的傳統詩歌沒有太大的感覺，甚至覺得有點沉悶，歌詞和旋律也不大搭配。

直到上周隨大學詩班到聖詩頌唱會唱頌傳統詩歌，才咀嚼、品嘗到當中的豐富內容。其中有一首詩歌是我特別喜歡的——

《主活著》　He Lives —世紀頌讚#205

我事奉一復活主，祂今在世活著；
我知道祂確活著，不管人怎麼說；
我見祂手施憐憫，我聞祂安慰聲，
每次當我需求祂，總必垂聽。
I serve a risen Saviour， He’s in the world today；
I know that He is living， whatever men may say；
I see His hand of mercy， I hear His voice of cheer；
And just the time I need Him， He’s always near.

在我所處環境中，主愛常在我旁，
雖然有時心煩惱，但卻不會絕望；
我知救主引領我，衝破狂風怒潮，
不日我主必再來，大顯榮耀。
In all the world around me I see His loving care；
And tho’my heart grows weary， I never will despair；
I know that He is leading thro’ all the stormy blast；
The day of His appearing will come at last.

歡樂！歡樂！眾聖徒都當揚聲歌唱，
當歌唱哈利路亞，永歸基督君王；
祂是尋著的盼望，又是求者力量，
無人比祂更可愛，善良仁慈。
Rejoice， rejoice， O Christian， lift up your voice and sing
Eternal hallelujahs to Jesus Christ the King﹗
The hope of all who seek Him， the help of all who find，
None other is so loving， so good and kind.

基督！耶穌！救主今天活著！
祂與我談，祂伴我走，生命窄路同過；

副歌的最後一句很鼓舞：「你問我怎知祂活著，因祂活在我心。」
