Back.... to normal??

Hey everyone!! I'm back in USA already.... and the two months back in HK with you guys were truly wonderful.

(If you're wondering if the remaining content would be in English, I can answer you right here - Yes, cause i can't type chinese....= =... I may change it back to chinese when I have time for yahoo dictionary....XD)

As I have talked about in my sharing last sunday, I have learnt, truly, how precious my fellow "fellowshipers" were to me. I hadn't come upon it before, even when I left HK last year, and had nearly 30 people farewelling me at the airport. Maybe it was the bonds we built and strengthened this summer, or maybe I was blinded by my more personal relationships last year, but the truth is, I feel that I miss you guys a lost more. However, it is in a way, unlike last year, that I do not fear of losing you, for I have put all these into the palms of God, knowing that he will provide.

Devotional sharing: Holy = Holy Clean??

I have just finished using Leviticus for my daily devotional, and He, through it, has taught me lots. The book speaks a lot about how the priests have to split birds open in the middle but still leave the last part hanging and having to scrape out all the intestines; skinning the calf and splashing its blood all over the altar. Just by reading it, I can sense that the tent and the altar is not only bloody and dirty, but also smelly. But the thing is, God lived in that dirty stinky tent, and he even claims those offerings to be holy. So, even though we usually would linked holy with physical cleanliness, God says holy has nothing to do with it. Leviticus also tells us that holy means to be set aside just for the sake of God. When the firstborn sons of Aaron offered "unauthorized" fire to the Lord, they were immediately burnt to death by fire coming out of His mouth.

What about us? Do we offer "unauthorized" fire to God?? Is our devotional time especially put aside for God? Can our church time be easily interrupted by other events? Are we even conscious during Sunday service?? and do we put our serving and our ministry at top priority??

I pray that I can always keep these questions in mind.

Prayer Items....

- Pray for Ng Gam, Jun Yuen, Geoff, Florence(Cat), and Gin Hei(Samuel), for they will all enter a new environment, and may new strengths from the Lord come along as well.

- Pray for (Sandy, who prays hard for) Edwin, who is in Beijing right now.

- Pray for "Instructor" Grace, for herding us sheep is not easy, I have had a taste of it in US myself.

- Pray for Siu Kit, So, and Jasmine for their coming AL studies

- Pray for Cynie, whose GSCE results would be out in a week

- Pray for ME! for my school starts coming Monday.... very nervous..... hee
